At iRunDocs, we strive to provide high-quality document generation services. Due to the digital nature of our products (instant PDF downloads), all sales are generally final. However, we understand that issues may arise, and we are committed to customer satisfaction.
2. Eligible Refund Requests
We may issue refunds in the following circumstances:
- Technical Errors: If our system failed to generate your document correctly due to a technical issue on our end
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same document
- Service Unavailability: If you paid for a document but were unable to access it due to our service being down
- Missing Features: If a purchased document is missing features that were advertised or promised
3. Non-Refundable Situations
We cannot issue refunds in the following cases:
- You changed your mind after purchasing and downloading a document
- You entered incorrect information into the document (user error)
- You did not read the document preview before purchasing
- You are unsatisfied with the legal validity of the document (we provide templates, not legal advice)
- You purchased the wrong document type by mistake
- The document does not meet your specific legal requirements (consult an attorney)
4. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact us within 7 days of your purchase
- Email us at refunds@irundocs.com
- Include your order number or transaction ID
- Provide a detailed explanation of the issue
- Include screenshots if applicable
We will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days.
5. Refund Processing Time
If your refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method via Stripe
- It may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is issued
6. Partial Refunds
In some cases, we may offer partial refunds. This typically applies when:
- A document has minor formatting issues but is still usable
- You experienced a degraded level of service but still received the document
- The issue was partially caused by user error but we could have provided better guidance
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card company without first contacting us:
- Your account will be immediately suspended
- You will lose access to all documents in your account
- We will provide evidence to your bank that you received the service
Please contact us first to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback. We are committed to working with you to find a fair solution.
8. Document Re-Downloads
If you lost your document or need to download it again:
- Login to your account and visit "My Documents"
- Documents are available for 30 days after purchase
- After 30 days, documents are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered
- No refunds are issued for documents that were auto-deleted after 30 days
9. Subscription Refunds (Future Feature)
If we introduce subscription plans in the future:
- You can cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds are issued for partial months
- You will retain access until the end of your paid period
10. Modification of Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
